Who we are

Ojamma operates a marketplace for African and Caribbean groceries, homemade foods, recipes, and delivery in Massachusetts. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you visit the site, create an account, shop, sell, drive, or publish.

Information we collect

Account data: name, email, phone, role, and (for partners) business, kitchen, vehicle, or creator profile details you submit.

Orders and payments: cart contents, delivery address, ZIP, and payment tokens handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

Usage data: device, approximate location from IP, pages viewed, and diagnostics needed to run the app.

Partner documents: IDs, licenses, and kitchen certificates you upload for verification.

How we use information

We use this information to run accounts, fulfill orders, pay partners, prevent fraud, send transactional email, improve the product, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

Stores, private sellers, and drivers see the customer details required to fulfill an order (name, address, phone, and order contents). Creators see aggregated earnings, not your full address.

Sharing and retention

We share data with processors such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting and auth), email delivery, and maps. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

We keep account and order records as long as needed for the relationship, taxes, disputes, and legal duties, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You can update profile fields in the app, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or request deletion of an account, subject to records we must keep. Marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional order email cannot be turned off while you have an active order.
